I decided to give the kids something different to do last night so we camped in the family room.

Nice!
Looks like we’re going to christen the pop up camper I bought in September, by camping in the driveway.

How are you fairing trapped in the house with three kids under 10?

Awesome, did they stay out there all night? It was like 40* pouring and crazy wind here

We did something slightly similar last night. The kids wanted to sleep in their sleeping bags, so we let them. Then today, despite my recommendations, used their sleeping bags to slide down the stairs.

I might devolve into making a cushion and blanket fort for myself soon!

Everyone knows you pull every pillow and cushion into duty for that. Then go down on a plastic snow sled. Possibly inside a sleeping bag to reduce friction should the downstairs course require that precaution for mid-ride ejections.

Yep. Perfect night.

They didn't use pillows though. Just the sleeping bags. Thankfully no one was hurt. Yet.

Which is why I was informing of your role organizing pulling the whole household into play. Except the plastic sled which is way too quick for young people. :)
